DGM –Operations, Head Technical & Project, Vice President at DPL   October-11- September 16

 

Heading Engineering services Business Unit. Dual role of Operations and Commercial activity in Engineering services with Design, CAD, CAE, CAM and Technical Publication department for Aerospace division. Involved in Business plan, tracking and Re-planning on execution phase. Maintain quality management systems for AS9100 Rev C.
Took over the Engineering department to establish partnership with European company to establish New organization of IDEAS. Frequently travel to Europe to establish Technology transfers and Business meetings in Germany, France, Netherlands and Switzerland. Also become billable during onsite visit and perform the role of onsite coordinator and execute projects directly with client.
Involve in Project management from Estimation, Contract review, Risk Analysis, Project Planning, Scheduling, project Execution, Troubleshooting, re-planning, Project Delivery and feedback.
Successfully completed external Audit for AS9100 C for 3 times for renewal with implementation of CAD, CAM, Tec pub. Guiding the team not only getting the work done but also step down in the role of Engineer, Sr Engineer or Team leads role to solve the Issue.
Defining the strategy, framing the schedule, planning the execution and do analysis of performance of CAD-design, CAM-CNC programming, CAE – analysis and Technical publication utilizing CAD- Catia, Solidworks, Pro-engineer, Siemens NX-7 to 9, Autodesk Inventor. CAM programming in Mastercam, Edgecam, UG NX 7.5-9, Catia CAM.
Designing and maintain process for Risk Analysis, RCA, CAPA, Enquiry review, contract review and all measures for continual Improvement.
Interact with Customer and update the Team leads and team for the requirement.
Efficient Project planning and Ensure the Team to deliver the projects to the Requirement.
Defining the Systems and Procedures for Design and NC programming.
Do Business Plan, do act and react to the actual for the plan period.
Manage the leads and Team to design Jigs, Fixtures, Product, Process and Assemblies for Aerospace, General Engineering and Oil and gas Domain
Successfully co-ordinated for 10 KW wind turbine from design, manufacturing and installation serving DRDO at banihal Top.
Travel to Europe for Technical Meetings, Understand Client requirement, Technical discussions, and initialize business with clients. Work as front end engineer and execute the project, at crucial stage and vacation time in India, did executed project by self and retained the relationship with client.
